How well do you understand composites? The questions in this quiz are based on the behavior of representative polymeric composites materials, with special emphasis on graphite/epoxy composites. Considering the accuracy of our calculations, when values in the following questions are within 10 percent, we interpret them as equal.

 The purpose of this quiz is to help instructors at various universities train students. the quiz can also be used by practicing engineers to assess their analysis and design capabilities. Many of the questions are intended to highlight the need for calculation rather than guessing. It is hoped that the quiz will encourage engineers to design composites with rational and internally consistent methods.
